Understanding billing plans
Ustawi is priced per institution per month across three plans — Starter, Growth, and Enterprise. Each plan sets how many staff seats and branches you get, the rate for SMS sent above your bundle, and which apps are available. Billing is monthly only; there is no annual tier.

The price is per institution per month — there is no per-loan charge. Seats are the number of staff logins; branches are the physical locations you operate. Both are capped by your plan, and Enterprise removes those caps entirely.
SMS above your bundle
Borrower and staff notifications are metered above your plan's bundled allotment. Any SMS beyond the bundle is charged at the plan's per-message overage rate, which falls on higher tiers — TZS 20 on Starter, TZS 18 on Growth, TZS 15 on Enterprise. This is the only usage-metered charge; everything else is the flat monthly price.
Apps are available on every plan
Plans differ by seats, branches, SMS rate and support tier — not by apps. Every app is available on every plan, and switching one on does not change your price.
Plans are billed monthly — there is no annual tier and no yearly discount. Every new tenant starts on a 14-day free trial with no card required, and settles by bank transfer or mobile money once a paid plan is chosen.
