The day's worklist, ready before the agent leaves the office.

The worklist is the agent's daily list of borrowers and installments due, synced once from the server and then fully usable all day — no matter how the signal comes and goes. It is the entry point into every collection and every visit.

The operational problem this solves

An agent leaving for a rural route needs to know exactly who to see and what is due — before losing signal. A worklist that only works online is useless the moment the network drops. The Ustawi worklist is built to be synced once and then relied on for the whole day.

How the worklist syncs and stays usable

The worklist downloads once from /sync/bootstrap — the day's assigned borrowers and installments due — and is then held on-device. This offline durability is the strongest, most concrete promise on this page: sync once, work all day, regardless of signal.

As the agent collects, the worklist updates on-device even before sync — a just-collected borrower shows as collected immediately, so the agent always sees an accurate day-in-progress view without waiting for the network.

Why this matters

The 'Routes' in the name refers to the worklist being the agent's daily route anchor — which borrowers are due, in the order the server returns them — not an algorithmic route-optimization engine. The worklist is ordered by the server; optimized routing is planned, and the app does not claim a routing algorithm it doesn't have.

Sync & offline-durability flow

  1. 1
    Sync once
Worklist pulled from /sync/bootstrap before leaving.
  2. 2
    Held on-device
Fully usable all day, signal or no signal.
  3. 3
    Work the list
Each borrower is the entry point to collect or log a visit.
  4. 4
    Updates on-device
A collected borrower shows as collected before sync.
  5. 5
    Sync back
Queued actions reconcile with the server when signal returns.

FAQ

Where does the worklist come from?

It is synced from the server's /sync/bootstrap — the agent's assigned borrowers and installments due for the day — then held on-device.

Does the worklist work offline?

Yes. It is synced once and then fully usable all day regardless of connectivity; this offline durability is the core promise of the feature.

Does it show my progress before I have signal?

Yes — the worklist updates on-device as you collect, so a just-collected borrower shows as collected immediately, before the next sync.

Does the app optimize my route or map it for me?

No. 'Routes' refers to the worklist as your daily route anchor — the borrowers due, in the order the server returns. The worklist is ordered by the server; optimized routing is planned.

Which phones or operating systems does the app run on?

The field app is available on Android; an iOS version is planned.
