Cookie Policy
Preamble
This Cookie Policy explains how Ustawi ("Ustawi") uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website and customer portal, and how you can control them.
1. What Are Cookies
Small text files (or equivalent local/device storage) placed on your device that let a website remember information between visits or during a session.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
| Category | Purpose | Example | Duration | Can you disable? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session security, load balancing | Session/auth token, CSRF token | Session / up to 12 months | No — required for the site to function |

| Analytics | Understanding aggregate site usage to improve the marketing site | Google Analytics 4 | Up to 24 months | Yes |
| Marketing | Not used — Ustawi does not set marketing or advertising cookies | — | — | Yes |
3. Cookies on the Portal (Logged-in Product)
The logged-in Ustawi portal uses only strictly-necessary session/authentication cookies and local storage for UI preferences (sidebar collapse state, language, theme) — it does not use tracking/marketing cookies, since it is not a public-facing marketing surface.
4. Your Choices
A cookie-preferences panel (below) lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or customize per category at any time. You can also control cookies via your browser settings; blocking strictly-necessary cookies may prevent login from working correctly.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Where a sub-processor (see /legal/sub-processors) sets its own cookies (e.g. an analytics or support-chat provider), that provider's own privacy/cookie practices apply in addition to this Policy.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
